Nor Chiao, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon who specializes in the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer, as well as other disorders of the skin, hair, and nails. She is passionate about providing expert care to patients of all ages and with a variety of skin conditions. Her formal education and training include:

Dr. Chiao has been awarded numerous prestigious honors, including the 2005 Women’s Dermatological Society Mentorship Award at the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery, the 2005 American Society of Dermatologic Surgery Preceptorship Award, and multiple research training fellowship awards by the National Cancer Institute and Howard Hughes Foundations. Dr. Chiao has contributed her efforts and expertise to several publications and presentations and has spent the most of her professional career working in various disciplines of dermatological study. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the American Society for Mohs Surgery (ASMS).
In her spare time, Dr. Chiao enjoys traveling, especially to Europe and the Caribbean, and watching pop-culture movies.
