Nicoleta Negoita, MS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant with over 15 years of experience in dermatology and 30 years in patient care. Nicoleta is committed to providing compassionate care for patients of all ages, with expertise in complex pathology, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic procedures. Her formal education and training include:
- University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Bucharest, ROM) – BS, Dentistry
- Albany Medical College (Albany, NY) – MS, Physician Assistant Studies (Pi Alpha National Honor Society)
Nicoleta specializes in skin exams, dermatoscope evaluations, and various diagnostic and surgical procedures, including patch testing and DermTech® melanoma testing. She is also proficient in many dermatologic surgery treatments. Previously, she practiced oral surgery at Prahova County Hospital in Romania and completed her residency in general dentistry and oral surgery.
She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA) and the Maryland Academy of Physician Assistants (MAPA). She is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and has Diplomate Fellow Status with the SDPA.
Nicoleta is involved in missionary and charity activities and is the founder of the Health Committee for the Saint Andrew Romanian Orthodox Church in Potomac, MD. She also participates in Programs for Skin Cancer Prevention at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, offering free skin screenings.
In Nicoleta’s spare time, she enjoys swimming, hiking, dancing, reading, painting, traveling and playing bridge.
