Rachel VanWettering is a nurse practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) who specializes in general dermatology with a special interest in skin cancer detection. She is passionate about educating her patients and promoting sustainable health and wellness habits to mitigate illness and disease. She prides herself on providing compassionate care and treats all conditions of the skin, hair, and nails. Her formal education and training include:

- University of Texas at Arlington College of Nursing (Arlington, TX) – MS, Nursing
Rachel is certified as a family nurse practitioner and registered nurse with the state of New Mexico, and is also certified in advanced, pediatric, and basic life support. In addition to dermatologic care, Rachel is skilled in family and care planning, the management of chronic health problems, and preventive care, to name a few.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys running marathons and half-marathons, and traveling.
