Samantha Black, MD, is a board-eligible dermatologist with a passion for autoimmune skin diseases and skin cancer research. She has a strong passion for research and clinical care, especially in underserved and rural populations. Her formal education and training include:

Dr. Black has published extensively on autoimmune skin diseases. She is passionate about screening and early detection of skin cancer, particularly in underserved communities.
In addition to her research, Dr. Black has received multiple accolades, including being named the John Peter Smith Hospital Transitional Year Surgery Intern of the Year and receiving the Melanoma Research Foundation Medical Student Grant. She is a senior member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society (AΩA), and she frequently volunteers at health fairs and free clinics, providing dermatologic care to underserved populations in the Dallas area.
In her spare time, Dr. Black enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, attending local sports events like Dallas Cowboys games, and listening to audiobooks and lifestyle/comedy podcasts.
