Dr. Jason Preissig is a board-certified dermatologist providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatologic care for patients of all ages. His clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, inflammatory skin diseases, and aesthetic dermatology. Dr. Preissig is passionate about using evidence-based medicine to help patients achieve optimal skin health and confidence. His formal education and training include:

Dr. Preissig is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). Before returning to his hometown of San Antonio, he practiced dermatology at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, where he served as an attending dermatologist and member of the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Center. His research has been published in Seminars in Plastic Surgery and Clinical Advisor, with a focus on laser resurfacing technologies and clinical dermatology. Both his undergraduate and graduate theses focused on informed consent.
In his spare time, Dr. Preissig enjoys reading, traveling, solving a Rubik’s Cube in 25 seconds, hiking, and wakeboarding. He believes the three most important skin care products are sunscreen, sunscreen, and sunscreen.
