Dr. Oliver Ha is a dermatology resident physician who specializes in the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer, as well as inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema, and acne. He is experienced in complex dermatologic conditions involving the skin, hair, and nails and sees patients of all ages. His formal education and training include:

During Dr. Ha’s training, he demonstrated a strong commitment to academic and hands-on dermatology. He is an award-winning researcher, receiving the 2025 Baylor Scott & White Scholar’s Day Research Excellence Award for his work on melanoma margin delineation. His scholarly contributions include peer-reviewed publications, national and regional poster presentations, and multiple oral presentations on topics ranging from complex medical dermatology to surgical reconstruction and dermatologic education.
Committed to giving back to his communities, Dr. Ha volunteers monthly at a community dermatology clinic and has participated in domestic and international medical service initiatives. During medical school, he co-founded The Osler Society, a medical humanities forum focused on restoring meaning and reflection in medicine and helped develop a COVID-19 clinical dashboard used by executive leadership to guide institutional response efforts. He is an active resident member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the Texas Dermatological Society (TDS).
In his spare time, Dr. Ha enjoys endurance athletics, including marathons and triathlons, playing piano and guitar, and time with his wife and two young children.
