Dr. Alexander Rose, MD, is a dermatology resident physician who specializes in the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer, as well as inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema, and acne. He is experienced in complex dermatologic conditions involving the skin, hair, and nails and sees patients of all ages. His formal education and training include:

- University of New Mexico School of Medicine (Albuquerque, NM) – Doctor of Medicine
- Scripps Mercy (San Diego, CA) – Transitional Residency
- University of Arizona (Tucson, AZ) – Dermatology residency
During his training, Dr. Rose has participated in several research projects, presentations, and publications, with topics that ranged from “Investigating the efficacy of procedural outcomes using reflectance confocal microcopy mosaics for melanoma in situ” to “Performing a pharmacovigilance study of the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) from 2008 to 2024 for hedgehog inhibitors vismodegib and sonidegib.”
He has given back to his communities, providing his services and leadership to such organizations as the Mohs Journal Club and the Skin Cancer Screening Outreach Program, as well as providing humanitarian aid during Hurricane Harvey. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), and the American Medical Association (AMA).
In his spare time, Dr. Rose enjoys hiking, snowboarding, golf, travel, exercise, and cooking.
