Dr. Amanda Laska-Trump is a board-certified dermatologist and Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Medical Corps with a strong commitment to clinical care, research, and medical education. She has a particular interest in severe cutaneous drug reactions, medical leadership, and advancing dermatologic care. Her formal education and training include:

Dr. Laska-Trump serves as a faculty dermatologist at Brooke Army Medical Center, where she trains residents and medical students while maintaining an active clinical practice. She has published in peer-reviewed journals on topics including Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis and has presented her work nationally at the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the Uniformed Services Academy of Family Physicians (USAFP) conferences.
She has received multiple awards throughout her career, including top honors at the Texas Dermatology Society (TDS) and the Association of Military Dermatologists (AMD) Resident Publication Award. She is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA) Medical Honor Society and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).
In addition to her military service and academic roles, Dr. Laska-Trump is passionate about medical mentorship, professional development, and community outreach. She has written public health articles on skin care, taught dermatology to local schools, and frequently delivers lectures to residents, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
In her spare time, Dr. Laska-Trump enjoys outdoor activities with her family, mentoring junior officers, and exploring new ways to combine leadership and medicine to better serve patients and communities.
