Helen Nguyen, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner who provides comprehensive, compassionate dermatologic care. She strives to empower her patients through education and a holistic approach to health, ensuring everyone receives personalized and evidence-based care. Her education and training include:
- University of New Mexico College of Nursing (Albuquerque, NM) – BS, Nursing
- University of Colorado-Colorado Springs (Colorado Springs, CO) – MS, Family Nurse Practitioner Concentration
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Helen gained years of bedside and clinical experience as a registered nurse in cardiology, medical-surgical, and trauma sub-acute care. She went on to serve as a vascular nurse practitioner at the New Mexico Heart Institute, where she diagnosed and managed a wide range of vascular diseases.
Helen’s background also includes work in primary and urgent care settings, wound care, and managing both acute and chronic health conditions for diverse patient populations. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is conversationally fluent in Vietnamese.
In her spare time, Helen enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her fiancé and cats.
