John Hendrick, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with a passion for dermatology. His formal education and training include:
- Coastal Carolina (Myrtle Beach, SC) – Undergraduate
- Medical University (Charleston, SC) – Physician Assistant
John has also participated in numerous cosmetically-focus training programs and enjoys offering injectable treatments to his patients, alongside his general dermatologic care.
John is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is currently a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). He stays very active with these organizations and regularly attends meetings and lectures on all the exciting new treatments for skin disease. One of John’s passion projects outside of the clinic includes volunteering for the Dream Center Clinic, offering services to underserved members of the local community.
In his spare time, John loves spending time with his wife and his English cream retriever, Emmie. He also has two sons and visits with them often. As an avid musician, he enjoys playing the drums, piano, and guitar. He serves as a worship leader and youth mentor at his church, loves southern cooking, and can be spotted surfing the swells as often as possible.
