Johnson Mwangi, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with extensive experience in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Some of his favorite conditions to treat include acne, eczema, psoriasis, lipomas, and fungal infections. He also enjoys skin cancer prevention and treatment. Johnson has over 10 years of service in the United States Air Force as a commissioned officer and is currently serving as a Major in the Texas Air National Guard. He has a breadth of experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, and vascular surgery. During his active-duty service, Johnson performed numerous skin biopsies and treated a vast number of skin conditions, including rashes and eczema, and assisted in the treatment of skin cancer.
He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), and the Society of Air Force Physician Assistants (SAFPA).
In his spare time, Johnson enjoys riding bikes, running, enjoying nature, and reading inspirational books.
