Dr. Paola Aldana is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer, as well as other concerns such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and other rashes. She performs numerous cosmetic procedures, including injectable neurotoxins and facial fillers. She enjoys treating patients of all ages, as she spent a significant amount of time during her residency training at the Children’s Hospital Colorado. Additionally, she is fluent in Spanish. Her formal education and training include:
- Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies (Washington, DC) – BS, Human Science (magna cum laude)
- University of Maryland School of Medicine (Baltimore, MD) – Doctor of Medicine (magna cum laude)
- Mercy Medical Center (Baltimore, MD) – Preliminary Year Training in Internal Medicine
- University of Colorado School of Medicine (Aurora, CO) – Dermatology Residency
Through her post-baccalaureate training at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, and her medical training, Dr. Aldana has achieved several honors and awards and is in multiple peer-reviewed journal publications. During this time she became a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society (AΩA).
In her spare time, Dr. Aldana enjoys concerts, international travel, exploring Colorado, pilates, and discovering new restaurants and coffee shops.
