Dr. Rebecca B. Luria is a board-certified dermatologist who provides comprehensive dermatologic care for patients of all ages, including general, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology. She has extensive experience treating a wide range of skin conditions and performing advanced dermatologic procedures. Her formal education and training include:
- Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH) – BS, Biology; Minor in Studio Arts (summa cum laude)
- Georgetown University School of Medicine (Washington, DC) – Doctor of Medicine
- Tripler Army Medical Center (Honolulu, HI) – Transitional Internship
- National Capital Consortium (Washington, DC) – Dermatology Residency
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Luria has held several academic and leadership roles. She served as director of dermatologic education, assistant professor, and staff dermatologist at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) in Bethesda, Maryland, where she helped train medical students and physicians. She was also chief of dermatology at Kimbrough Army Medical Center in Fort Meade, Maryland, and served as the president of the Hawaii Dermatological Society.
Dr. Luria has contributed to the field through publications and invited lectures, including work with the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Medical Student Core Curriculum. She has also presented at AAD meetings and other national dermatology conferences. Currently, she participates in ongoing research registries for psoriasis and eczema.
She has received several honors, including the AAD Presidential Citation and multiple military service awards. She has been recognized as one of America’s Best Physicians, Best Doctors, and Top Doctors in national physician listings.
In her spare time, Dr. Luria enjoys tennis, reading, painting, and hiking with her husband and three children.
