Anisha Guda, MD, is a board-eligible dermatologist specializing in general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She has a passion for cosmetics and has a strong commitment to providing exceptional care for patients of all skin types and ethnic backgrounds. She has a special interest in cosmetic services, such as chemical peels, neuromodulators, injectable fillers, and laser treatments.
Dr. Guda emphasizes holistic and personalized medicine, developing a treatment plan specific to each patient’s needs and encompassing their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Her goal is to help patients feel comfortable and confident about their skin. Her mission is to go the extra mile to improve patient care.

Her clinical research has largely centered on creating innovative treatment approaches for patients with skin of color and enhancing overall quality of life. In particular, she led a clinical trial at UTSW to create an alternative treatment option for melasma. She was also honored for her efforts at the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), receiving a prestigious research grant from La Roche-Posay.®
A dedicated leader, Dr. Guda has served in national roles with AAD, the Women’s Dermatologic Society (WDS), and the Skin of Color Society (SOCS). She received the honor of being selected for the Virtual Magic Wand Initiative Program at Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital, which focuses on solving frontline problems in dermatology. And, she has given multiple presentations at national conferences and contributed multiple articles to esteemed peer-reviewed publications.
During her academic training, she received multiple accolades: membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society (AΩA), the Heart of Gold Award, the Stuart Brown, MD, Achievement Award, and the Tylenol Future Care Scholarship. Dr. Guda has led numerous community and global health initiatives, including dermatologic outreach in rural Panama and sun protection campaigns in Texas public schools. At UTSW, she played an integral role in organizing and coordinating the Department of Dermatology Grand Rounds, serving as the Cosmetics Coordinator, and actively contributing to the Agape Dermatology Clinic.
Dr. Guda’s extracurricular interests reflect her creative and cultural passions. She enjoys cooking global cuisines, and holds a black belt in Taekwondo. A passionate writer, she has authored reflective pieces and blogs for Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) and other platforms.
In her free time, Dr. Guda enjoys exploring diverse cuisines in Dallas, mentoring future dermatologists, and spending time with her family in Flower Mound, Texas.
