Matt Scheve, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who provides comprehensive, patient-centered dermatologic care. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality treatment with a focus on thorough skin evaluations, accurate diagnosis, and procedural precision. Matt works with patients of all ages and is committed to ensuring each individual feels informed, comfortable, and supported throughout their care. His formal education and training include:
- University of Missouri–Columbia (Columbia, MO) – BHS, Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences (emphasis in Respiratory Therapy)
- University of Missouri–Kansas City (Kansas City, MO) –MMS, Physician Assistant Studies
Matt has hands-on expertise performing a wide range of dermatologic services, including comprehensive skin examinations, skin biopsies, patch testing, cryotherapy, and excisions of benign and malignant lesions. Prior to practicing dermatology, he worked extensively in critical care as a respiratory therapist, providing care in pediatric and neonatal intensive care units, as well as emergency settings. This experience strengthened his clinical assessment skills, attention to detail, and patient education approach.
Matt is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
In his spare time, Matt has an active lifestyle that includes cycling, hiking, and weightlifting. He enjoys traveling and experiencing new places with his wife and is an avid sports fan, proudly cheering on his alma mater, the University of Missouri.
