Adelina Matatova, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with a passion for medical and cosmetic dermatology. She has a special interest in acne, anti-aging, and skin cancer prevention and treatment. Her formal education and training include:
- Arizona State University College of Health Solutions (Phoenix, AZ) – BS, Human Nutrition
- A.T. Still University of Health Sciences (Mesa, AZ) – MS, Physician Assistant Studies
In struggling with acne as a teenager and working closely with her own dermatology PA, Ms. Matatova was fortunate enough to become familiar with the wide variety of interventions available to us today. As an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, continuing education and evidence-based practice remain important to her, as does service to Arizona’s diverse community.
Adelina is native to Arizona and is fluent in Russian. In her spare time, she enjoys salsa dancing, hiking, rock climbing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
