Allyson Cook is a certified physician assistant who started her dermatology career with a large group in Miami, FL, where she stayed for several years providing surgical, general dermatology, and cosmetic services to patients. She later moved back to South Carolina and has been working in the Upstate ever since, where she is closer to family, friends, and Clemson football.
Allyson is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and her formal education and training include:
- Clemson University (Clemson, SC) – BS, Health Science
- Nova Southeastern University (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) – BS, Physician Assistant Studies
Allyson’s interests are skin exams with dermoscopy for atypical nevi and skin cancers. She enjoys treatment and management of skin cancer, as well as common dermatological conditions. She performs Botox® Cosmetic and likes doing non-invasive laser procedures.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and puppy. She also enjoys lake days on Lake Keowee with family and friends.
