John Plante, MD, MSCR, is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in the diagnosis of skin, hair, and nail conditions, and an interest in complex medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, and dermatopathology. His formal education and training include:

He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and has received many awards and honors, including the Humanism and Professionalism Award and the Star Clinician Award at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
In his spare time, Dr. Plante enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and dog, and stays active playing pickleball and hiking.
