Dr. Joseph Catanzaro is a board-certified dermatologist who has been practicing general and surgical dermatology as part of the Greenville team since 1993. He is the current market medical director for Epiphany Dermatology’s Southern Charm division and was selected as Provider of the Year in 2024. His formal education and training include:

Dr. Catanzaro’s professional interests include the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and identification of atypical moles and skin lesions. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the South Carolina Dermatologic Society (SCDS) and is licensed in both South Carolina and Georgia. He is a former president of the Piedmont Dermatological Society (PDS) and former chairperson of the Department of Dermatology at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Dr. Catanzaro was awarded the Epiphany Dermatology Physician of the Year award in 2024, and serves as the southeastern Market Medical Director for Epiphany Dermatology.
Dr. Catanzaro enjoys spending time with his wife, four children, and grandchildren. As all of his children graduated from Clemson University, he is a loyal Tigers fan. He also remains an avid fan of the Fighting Irish. He enjoys working and playing outdoors, pickleball, playing acoustic guitar, reading, and life on Lake Keowee.
