Christopher Smith, MD
Dr. Chris Smith is an advanced dermatologic surgeon with a deep commitment to providing exceptional care in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Smith has performed more than 20,000 surgeries, specializing in the treatment of skin cancers through Mohs micrographic surgery and advanced facial reconstruction techniques.

Wendy Ortiz, PA-C
Wendy Ortiz, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who began her career in pediatrics and has specialized in dermatology since 2003. She brings over two decades of experience in general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology and is known for her collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.

Skin Care Screenings

Psoriasis

Excisions
Skin excision is a surgery where we cut out damaged skin tissue. It is a full-thickness removal — meaning we remove all layers of the tissue (epidermis, dermis, and into the subcutaneous fat layer). We then suture it back together with stitches for optimal healing.
Chemical Peels
Most people don’t realize that there are several kinds of peels great for improving the appearance of the skin. Chemical peels should be done in a series of three to six peels. For best results, we recommend a series of six peels, three weeks apart.
